Senior Advocacy Program

St. Patrick senior Advocacy is a 'seniors helping seniors' program. It is open to seniors who are at least 60 years of age, identified as requiring assistance for medical purposes or for a disability, and living within Detroit city limits. Trained Senior Advocates provide support, companionship, and act as liaisons with medical and community reources. They work to ensure seniors recieve the services needed to maintain independence. The goal of this program is the prevention of institutionalization.
