How Can I Help?

St. Patrick Senior Center accepts contributions from all sources and in any form. We schedule groups to prepare and serve weekend and holiday meals. Monetary donations as well as donations of new and used clothing, food, toiletries, and household items are gratefully recieved. St. Pat's also has a car donation program. All contributions are tax deductible.

Telling your friends and family about this site would also be greatly appreciated.


Center's Wish List

St. Patrick Senior Center accepts a wide range of donations to enhance the services provided to seniors. The Center is a home away from home for many and has become a one-stop service provider for its membership. Everything related to basic living necessities such as clothing, transportation, food, personal care, independent living aides are all needed and appreciated. Beyond these ongoing needs of our seniors, the Center could use funds or in-kind services to enhance the programs offered. Following is a list of some of those items:

Program/Activity/Wellness Needs
  • Arts and Crafts supplies
  • Senior exercise or other instructional videos
  • Rolls of plastic produce/bread bags and ties
  • Drivers for trips (Chauffer license or CDL sometimes needed)
  • Holiday Decorations for the building
  • Bingo prizes
  • Pay phone for member use
  • Dart board/darts
  • Picture ID holders, chains, bracelets, clips
  • Large picture frames (wall size)
  • Fix pool tables/shuffle board table
  • Laminating supplies
  • Hairdressing supplies:
    • Disinfectant comb container, apron, neck protector cloths, hand blow dryer, curling iron, scissors, rollers, clippers, brush, etc...


Health Clinic/Advocacy Needs
  • First aid kits/supplies
  • Straight single canes (not four legged)
  • Shower seats/toilet seat risers
  • Panty liners/adult incontinent aids
  • Canned food supplements (Ensure...)
  • Senior Volunteer Advocates to assist other seniors with Dr.'s visits etc.


Building/Property/Kitchen Needs
  • Re-cover tops of dining tables
  • Plaster work/painting
  • Security camera/intercom/entrance buzzer system for outside
  • Toilets replaced with higher commodes
  • Flooring for cooler/freezer
  • Refinishing woodwork
  • Additional electrical plugs in each room
  • Additional phones for Clinic and Computer room
  • Weatherization work for windows/Tuck pointing
  • Re-carpeting/tiling pool room/third floor hallways
  • Computer network system/upgrade computers/color printers
  • Commercial washer and dryer
  • Commercial Baer mixer


Your generous donations of money and volunteer time are always appreciated and put to immediate use. St. Patrick Senior Center is a good steward of your donations and insures that it helps those most in need. Thank you for all your kindness.
